The RockCorps movement
RockCorps is a pro-social production company. RockCorps uses the power of music to inspire people to volunteer and Give to their community. Over 45,000 volunteers have attended more than 20 live events and an audience of millions has heard the message: Give, Get Given.
Rockcorps was launched in the US in 2005 by 7 friends: Stephen Greene, Grady Lee, Haley Moffett, Chris Robinson, Toby Garrett, Paul Hunter and Noel Eisenberg. Volunteers have earned their tickets to 7 RockCorps gigs in cities across the US including New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Washington DC and Miami. Stars that have graced the stage at the 7 RockCorps shows in the US include: Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne, T.I., The Game, Busta Rhymes, Xzibit, Akon, Taking Back Sunday, Korn, Panic! At The Disco, Nas, Angels & Airwaves, Jermaine Dupri and +44.
In 2008 RockCorps partnered with Orange and Channel 4 to bring RockCorps to the UK. The first Orange RockCorps concert took place on September 26th at the Royal Albert Hall and featured Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, Feeder, the Automatic, Lethal Bizzle, the Guillemots and John Legend.
In 2009, Orange RockCorps headed North with a show at the Manchester Apollo, July 13th. The line up included Lady Gaga, The Enemy, Tinchy Stryder, N-Dubz and VV Brown. On September 24th, Orange RockCorps once again descended upon the Royal Albert Hall, London, with a show that included Nelly, Nas, Akon, Razorlight, Kelly Rowland, Daniel Merriweather and David Guetta. October 2009 saw the first Orange RockCorps show in France at Le Zenith theatre in Paris: a show which featured Busta Rhymes, Sephyu, David Guetta and Razorlight.
2009 also saw the launch of the Orange RockCorps Collective. The Collective rewards volunteers who Give to their community, but who may not be able to make a project or gig. Volunteers become a part of The Collective community by sharing their experience with their peers through The Collective page. Collective members are offered exclusive tickets and are entered into amazing prize draws. Volunteers have Given 4 hours, and Got Given in return Chase & Status, Pendulum, The Great Escape and Hockey tickets, to name a few.

RockCorps has over 450 charity and non-profit partners in the US and Europe. All of the volunteering events are completed in partnership with and for the benefit of local charities and communities.
